In my debut @natgeo I spoke with some queer and nonconformist people who are rejecting enforced indigeneity and reshaping their own ideas of what it means to be Nigerian and indigenous.

As Jordyn says, “Realizing who I am makes me feel better— [that] was the freedom I needed. Being Native is not a sin; it's nothing to be ashamed of.”
